Booking a Photo Session

You can book a photo session by contacting me through the contact form on my website. Together we will agree on a date, time, and a suitable location for the shoot. The session can take place either at a chosen location (e.g. outdoors, at the client’s home, at an event venue) or at a studio in Järvenpää. You’re welcome to suggest a location, or I can recommend suitable ones.

Delivery of Photos

Finished, professionally edited photos will be delivered through a downloadable gallery. The gallery will be delivered within 1–3 weeks after the session (for wedding photography, within 2–4 weeks). The photos will be provided as high-resolution JPG files, edited in my personal style. The client will receive a curated and fully edited final selection. RAW files or all unedited shots will not be delivered.

Pricing and Payment

The price and content of the session are always agreed upon in advance. For mini sessions, a booking fee of €50 is required. For all other sessions, the booking fee is €150, payable at the time of scheduling. For full-day sessions, the booking fee is 25% of the total price. The booking fee is deducted from the final invoice. Payment can be made via email invoice (14-day payment term), MobilePay, or in cash. The final invoice will be sent on the day of the session. Due to the small-scale nature of my business, prices are VAT-exempt (VAT 0%).

The number of images included in the agreed photo package will be stated in the offer. If you wish to receive additional images beyond the selected ones, you can order extra photos as follows:

+10 images = €50

+20 images = €90

+30 images = €120

The photo gallery link will be delivered only after the full invoice has been paid. The invoice can be split into instalments free of charge.

Image Usage Rights

The client is granted personal, non-commercial usage rights. This includes saving, printing, sharing with family and friends, and posting on social media. Commercial use or third-party publishing always requires a separate agreement. If posting images online (e.g. on social media), please credit me as the photographer – thank you!

As the photographer, I reserve the right to use the images in my portfolio, including on my website, social media, and in marketing. Client names will not be disclosed without permission, and even then, only first names will be used. If you do not want your images to be published, please let me know at the time of booking.

Style and Editing

My photography style is documentary and natural. I edit the images in line with my personal visual style, I do not perform major digital alterations (e.g. background replacements or body reshaping). Minor skin retouching, such as removing scratches, bruises, or blemishes, can be done within reason. Hair editing or clothing color changes are not included in basic editing. Most images will be delivered in color, but I may include black-and-white versions at my discretion.

Finished images will be stored for 3 months, during which time the client should download and back up the files. After this period, the photographer is not obligated to retain the images.

Photographer’s Working Environment

Parents and guardians are responsible for children and pets during the session, as well as any damage they may cause. The photographer must be able to work without disturbance and is not responsible for any background situations during the shoot.
